The builders have moved in and work has started on creating our vibrant new food hub, The Crossing.
Work actually commenced before Christmas, behind the fascia’s of the empty shops on the link-bridge. We didn’t want to disrupt Christmas shopping in any way, so moved the builders in behind the glass and the vinyls, so work could start as soon as possible.
Now the hoarding has gone up, it is evident to the outside world that something is happening. The hoarding is there to protect the rest of the shopping centre and our visitors from any noise and dust created during the building works. Information regarding the build, who’s coming and what the space behind the hoarding will look like, is displayed on the hoarding.
To be kept informed of what’s happening, new lettings and the progress of the build, sign up for our monthly newsletter here.

Work has started in Canal Walk (in front of LUSH) to move the water main in order to facilitate the escalator pit. The programme of works should take up to 9 weeks and is being carried out by a contractor appointed by Thames Water. The escalator is on order and so far everything is on track for our Spring opening!
